Pricing
Billing is not live. The figures below are the configured prices. Checkout is not enabled on this deployment; nothing here can be bought yet. What is served today is the free tier: live rankings, no determinations, no charge.
Paid access is metered in credits. One balance per API key. A funded key (balance above zero) receives the paid answer, including cited commercial-use and data-residency determinations. A key with no remaining credits receives the free-tier answer, not an error, and a field that says credits are exhausted and where to buy. Free callers without a key are unchanged: 10 rankings per UTC day, 5/min burst, no determinations.

Packs
One-off purchases. They add to a separate pack balance and expire 365 days after purchase. Cancellation of a plan zeros the monthly allowance at once; pack credits are unaffected. x402 top-ups land in this same pack balance, with the same expiry rule.

What a credit buys
- A successful ranking costs 1 credit.
- A successful compliance check costs 5 credits.
- Only a successful result costs credits. 4xx, 5xx, and a well-formed request that matches no model cost nothing.
- Draw order: monthly allowance first, then pack credits, oldest expiry first.
The paid answer
A funded key receives cited commercial-use and data-residency determinations on POST /v1/policy-check. The free answer does not include them; those checks come back undetermined and labelled as a tier gap, never as a pass.
Neutrality
No referral fees, no paid placement, no provider-paid visibility. The commitment is published as data at /api/rank/profiles.json under ranking_policy.neutrality, and as prose at /legal/neutrality/.
